Intel Core i7 980X

Reviews on March 14th, 2010 No Comments

Taken into account however that i7 965 and i7 975 both cost the same DKK 7100, i7 980X suddenly becomes a very good deal. Additional 4 MB cache and 4 cores, but at approximate current i7 Extreme prices. Most of all our results showed that AMD needs to get into overdrive to keep up. Soon they’ll launch a six-core processor called Phenom II X6 – and later even a twelve-core Opteron for the business market, based on the Magny-Cours architecture. The question will be whether it is enough to catch Intel Core i7 980X. We doubt it.
