Solid State Drives have been on the market for some time now, but are rapidly approaching – along with a lower price and increased number of gigabytes – a mainstream breakthrough. Compared to an older mechanical drive, the features and blazing performance is not to go unnoticed. In this review, we have made our testbed ready for a battle between the Samsung-based Patriot Torqx M28 and the Indilinx-based OCZ Vertex, which are both 128 GB in size – and in all other specifications are very similar.
